Cookies
Last updated: April 2026
This page explains the cookies and related storage DJMagic.io uses today.
Cookies we use (essential)
_core_session — Keeps you signed in, supports security features (like CSRF protection), and stores short-lived UI state such as flash messages. It’s typically set for about 30 days and may be renewed while you’re actively using the site.
Blocking or clearing this session cookie may prevent a normal signed-in experience; you may need to sign in again.
What we don’t do
We do not use cookies for advertising or marketing, and we do not add typical audience analytics cookies (like Google Analytics-style trackers) to our pages.
We don’t sell your data.
Theme (not a cookie)
Your light/dark choice may live in localStorage on your device only. It isn’t sent to us as part of that feature.
Turnstile (sign-in / sign-up)
When our deployment has Cloudflare Turnstile turned on, those flows load Cloudflare’s script so you can pass a quick bot check — separate from our session cookie. That request interacts with Cloudflare’s systems as well as ours.
Server-side metrics
We collect basic operational metrics on the server to keep the service running reliably. These are not browser cookies and are used only for uptime and performance monitoring.
